When it comes to describing the advancement of pharmaceuticals, medical conventions are filled with static bar charts that struggle to attract attendees with the scientific data presented. Area23 was tasked to come up with a more engaging and uniquely interactive experience for the American Heart Association (AHA) tradeshow.

The touchscreen application prompted convention attendees to engage with onscreen elements while enabling them to quickly target content of interest, and encounter additional information through exploration.

Content was presented in a logical flow, allowing visitors to browse through information quickly while maintaining the ability to view and explore data at a higher level.

Tracking gestures also made it easy to record usage data. Providing these analytics helped Gene better understand which informations and areas of focus AHA attendees were most interested.
